SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (795), 
FOREST (512), MERIDIAN (41), MACON (232), HOUSTON (276), 
WEST POINT (185) AND GRENADA (72) ON April 20, 2015.

Receipts:     2,113         Last Week:     2,670      Last Year:   2,618

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold 5.00 to 15.00 lower and 
heifers sold 5.00 to 20.00 lower. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 17 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent 
steers and 45 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
