SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (612), 
FOREST (396), MERIDIAN (114), MACON (159), HOUSTON (178), 
WEST POINT (185) AND GRENADA (70) ON March 16, 2015.

Receipts:     1,714         Last Week:     2,297      Last Year:   2,410

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 10.00 lower 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 10.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 5.00 to 15.00 higher 
and heifers sold 1.00 to 10.00 higher. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 21 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 58 percent 
steers and 42 percent heifers, with an estimated 9 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
