SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (349) WEDNESDAY, 
February 25, 2015
 
Receipts:       349         Last Week:     297        Last Year:    680
   
   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher 
and bulls sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Feeder steers sold firm 
and hefiers sold 5.00 to 15.00 higher. 
The supply included 18 percent slaughter cows and 33 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 62 percent steers and 
38 percent heifers, with an estimated 6 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
