SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (389), 
FOREST (287), MERIDIAN (19), MACON (153), HOUSTON (187), 
WEST POINT (272) AND GRENADA (0) ON February 23, 2015.

Receipts:     1,307         Last Week:     1,956      Last Year:   2,606

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 15 percent slaughter cows and 26 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 51 percent 
steers and 49 percent heifers, with an estimated 7 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
