SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (726), 
FOREST (680), MERIDIAN (106), MACON (352), HOUSTON (217), 
WEST POINT (433) AND GRENADA (160) ON February 9, 2015.

Receipts:     2,674         Last Week:     1,834      Last Year:   2,613

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold mixed. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 15 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 52 percent 
steers and 48 percent heifers, with an estimated 6 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
