SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (693), 
FOREST (561), MERIDIAN (96), MACON (296), HOUSTON (532), 
WEST POINT (220) AND GRENADA (245) ON January 5, 2015.

Receipts:     2,643         Last Week:      0      Last Year:    2,721

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows and bulls no trend. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold no trend. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 21 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 43 percent 
steers and 57 percent heifers, with an estimated 4 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
