SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (973), 
FOREST (1,026), MERIDIAN (145), MACON (439), HOUSTON (148), 
WEST POINT (395) AND GRENADA (356) ON December 15, 2014.

Receipts:     3,482         Last Week:     3,458      Last Year:    3,863

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 12 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent 
steers and 43 percent heifers, with an estimated 5 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
