SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (1,133), 
WINONA (136), PHILADELPHIA (500), BROOKHAVEN (357), and MIZE (131) on 
TUESDAY, Ocotber 7, 2014

Receipts:      2,257         Last Week:      2,912        Last Year:   0   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 6.00 to 8.00 lower 
and bulls sold 4.00 to 6.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers 
sold steady to 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 9 percent slaughter cows and 12 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 56 percent steers and 44 percent heifers, with an 
estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
