SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (952), 
WINONA (253), PHILADELPHIA (588), BROOKHAVEN (435), and MIZE (207) on 
TUESDAY, August 5, 2014

Receipts:      2,435         Last Week:      2,096        Last Year:   1,830   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 8 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 57 percent steers and 43 percent heifers, with an 
estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
