SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (1,030) WEDNESDAY, 
July 23, 2014
 
Receipts:      1,030         Last Week:      1,060        Last Year:   761   

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 7.00 to 12.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher. 
The supply included 6 percent slaughter cows and 16 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 50 percent steers and 
50 percent heifers, with an estimated 4 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
