SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (1,060) WEDNESDAY, 
July 16, 2014
 
Receipts:      1,060          Last Week:       1,016        Last Year:   712

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 3.00 to 15.00 lower 
and heifers sold 2.00 to 10.00 lower. 
The supply included 8 percent slaughter cows and 12 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 59 percent steers and 
41 percent heifers, with an estimated 8 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
