SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (1,122), 
WINONA (441), PHILADELPHIA (531), BROOKHAVEN (376), and MIZE (171) on 
TUESDAY, June 24, 2014

Receipts:      2,641         Last Week:      2,522        Last Year:    1,982   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 4.00 to 6.00 higher 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 8.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 16 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers, with an 
estimated 9 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
