SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (779), 
WINONA (158), PHILADELPHIA (-), BROOKHAVEN (280), and MIZE (205) on 
TUESDAY, June 3, 2014

Receipts:      1,422         Last Week:      2,343        Last Year:    1,629   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher
and bulls sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold 5.00 to 7.00 higher. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 10 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers, with an 
estimated 18 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
