SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (938), 
WINONA (189), PHILADELPHIA (605), BROOKHAVEN (374), and MIZE (237) on 
TUESDAY, May 27, 2014

Receipts:      2,343         Last Week:       2,372        Last Year:    1,452   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 10 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers, with an 
estimated 18 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
