SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (447), 
WINONA (58), PHILADELPHIA (116), BROOKHAVEN (0), and MIZE (0) on 
TUESDAY, March 4, 2014

Receipts:      621         Last Week:     1,491      Last Year:    1,475   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 18 percent slaughter cows and 13 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers, with an 
estimated 7 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
