SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (468), 
FOREST (303), MERIDIAN (82), MACON (269), HOUSTON (249), 
WEST POINT (370) AND GRENADA (266) ON February 3, 2014.

Receipts:     2,007         Last Week:     3,525      Last Year:   2,413

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher and 
bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 14 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 58 percent steers and 42 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 7 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
