SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (898), 
WINONA (241), PHILADELPHIA (564), BROOKHAVEN (504), and MIZE (147) on 
TUESDAY, October 29, 2013

Receipts:      2,354       Last Week:     2,325     Last Year:   2,479   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower 
and bulls sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder steers sold steady and 
heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 15 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent steers 
and 45 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder 
supply weighing over 600 lbs.
