SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (989), 
WINONA (281), PHILADELPHIA (446), BROOKHAVEN (186), and MIZE (330) on 
TUESDAY, July 16, 2013

Receipts:      2,232       Last Week:     2,646     Last Year:   1,687   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold steady and bulls 
sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 9 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers and 
43 percent heifers, with an estimated 15 percent of the feeder 
supply weighing over 600 lbs.
