SUMMARY OF 6 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (743), 
FOREST (1,058), MERIDIAN (122), MACON (333), HOUSTON (150) AND 
WEST POINT (402) ON June 17, 2013.

Receipts:    2,808        Last Week:     3,420      Last Year:    3,384

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher and 
bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 13 percent slaughter cows and 9 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 61 percent steers and 
39 percent heifers, with an estimated 17 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
