SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (561), 
WINONA (92), PHILADELPHIA (337), BROOKHAVEN (123), and MIZE (170) on 
TUESDAY, April 30, 2013

Receipts:      1,283       Last Week:     1,589     Last Year:   1,892   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher 
and heifers sold 3.00 to 6.00 higher. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 17 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 58 percent steers and 
42 percent heifers, with an estimated 14 percent of the feeder 
supply weighing over 600 lbs.
