SUMMARY OF 6 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (665), 
FOREST (611), MERIDIAN (155), MACON (455), HOUSTON (162) AND 
WEST POINT (496) ON April 22, 2013.

Receipts:    2,544        Last Week:     2,013      Last Year:    2,997

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady and bulls 
sold 1.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold mixed. 
The supply included 13 percent slaughter cows and 15 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers and 
43 percent heifers, with an estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
