SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (663), 
WINONA (135), PHILADELPHIA (426), BROOKHAVEN (156), and MIZE (88) on 
TUESDAY, April 9, 2013

Receipts:      1,468       Last Week:     1,473     Last Year:   1,775   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 17 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent steers and 
46 percent heifers, with an estimated 11 percent of the feeder 
supply weighing over 600 lbs.
