SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (541) WEDNESDAY, 
April 3, 2013
 
Receipts:   541         Last Week:   407      Last Year:   1,140 

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold steady 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 18.00 higher 
and heifers sold mixed. The supply included 11 percent 
slaughter cows and 30 percent pairs/replacements. The feeder supply 
included 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers, with an estimated 13 
percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
