SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (826), 
WINONA (199), PHILADELPHIA (144), BROOKHAVEN (110), and MIZE (89) on 
TUESDAY, March 26, 2013

Receipts:      1,368       Last Week:     1,304     Last Year:   1,521   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower. 
The supply included 16 percent slaughter cows and 15 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 52 percent steers and 
48 percent heifers, with an estimated 8 percent of the feeder 
supply weighing over 600 lbs.
