SUMMARY OF 6 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (544), 
FOREST (437), MERIDIAN (67), MACON (135), HOUSTON (233) AND 
WEST POINT (244) ON March 25, 2013.

Receipts:  1,660        Last Week:     2,719      Last Year:  2,901

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower 
and bulls sold mixed. Feeder steers and heifers sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower. 
The supply included 16 percent slaughter cows and 21 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers and 43 
percent heifers, with an estimated 6 percent of the feeder supply weighing 
over 600 lbs.
