SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (609) WEDNESDAY, 
February 20, 2013
 
Receipts:   609         Last Week:   401      Last Year:  1,289 

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 6.00 higher 
and bulls sold 4.00 to 7.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher 
and heifers sold 5.00 to 15.00 higher. The supply included 5 percent 
slaughter cows and 4 percent pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 
59 percent steers and 41 percent heifers, with an estimated 19 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
