SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (401) WEDNESDAY, 
February 13, 2013
 
Receipts:   401         Last Week:   699      Last Year:  738 

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold weak
and bulls sold 3.00 to 8.00 lower. Feeder steers sold 5.00 to 15.00 lower 
and heifers sold 5.00 to 12.00 lower. The supply included 6 percent 
slaughter cows and 47 percent pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 
64 percent steers and 36 percent heifers, with an estimated 4 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
