SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (479), 
WINONA (42), PHILADELPHIA (0), BROOKHAVEN (127), and MIZE (102) on 
TUESDAY, January 15, 2013

Receipts:     750         Last Week:     1,805        Last Year:  2,577   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold steady 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold mixed.   
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 14 percent pairs/replacements. 
The feeder supply included 54 percent steers and 46 percent heifers, 
with an estimated 14 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
