   Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers steady to 3.00 higher with advance
near 550 lbs. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs steady to 2.00 higher, over 600 lbs
steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows 5.00-7.00 lower. Demand good. Supply 
moderate. Near 11 percent of the offering were cows and 21 percent of the 
feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 51 percent steers and 
bulls and 49 percent heifers. The feeder trade looked similar to last week
although the overall market momentum took a hit Friday with the Cattle on Feed
placement figure coming in at 102, which was 5 percent above expectations.
