   No recent sale for a price comparison although the feeder market has 
improved considerably since the last auction on Dec 18. Supply heavy. Demand
very good. Near 9 percent of the offering was cows and 42 percent of the
feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 60 percent steers and
bulls and 40 percent heifers. The feeder market is responding to sharply higher
slaughter cattle prices and beef cutout values.
