******Sheep and goat sale is on the third Friday of the month at 10:00 am******

   Compared to last month, few feeder lambs sold 60.00 higher, slaughter lambs 
sold 30.00 higher; slaughter ewes traded 13.00 higher; few slaughter rams 40.00 
lower.  Slaughter billies sold 15.00 lower; nannies sold 10.00 lower, slaughter 
kids sold 5.00 lower, few feeder kids sold 27.00 higher and yearlings scarce; 
Demand uneven and supply moderate to heavy.  Sheep made up approximately 60 
percent of the offering, 40 percent goats.

   Sheep: 420 head
   Slaughter lambs:  Choice 1-2  40-72 lbs, 175.00-200.00.  Choice 2  47-75 lbs 
150.00-170.00.
 
   Yearling: Choice 1  70-90 lbs 110.00-125.00.

   Feeder lambs:  Choice 1-2  very few 32-43 lbs, 172.50-210.00.

   Slaughter ewes:  Utility and Good 2-3  few 85-120 lbs, 75.00-110.00.  culls
70-80 lbs 50.00-60.00.

   Slaughter rams:  few 155-235 lbs 50.00-65.00.

   Replacement ewes:  Good 2-3  88-130 lbs 122.50-165.00.

   Replacement Rams:  one 120 lbs 115.00.
