******Sheep and goat sale is on the third Friday of the month at 10:00 am******

   Compared to last month, few feeder lambs sold 16.00 higher; slaughter lambs sold 15.00 higher; slaughter ewes traded 30.00 higher; few slaughter rams sold 10.00 higher.  Slaughter billies traded 15.00 higher, few nannies sold 20.00 higher, slaughter kids sold 5.00 higher, feeder kids sold 15.00 lower and yearlings in light supply; Demand good and supply moderate.  Sheep made up approximately 77 percent of the offering, 33 percent goats.  Prices quoted are per cwt. unless otherwise noted.

   Slaughter Lambs:  Choice 1-2   48-64 lbs 142.50-150.00; fancy 47-61 lbs 170.00-180.00; 70-77 lbs 120.00-130.00; 80-88 lbs 105.00-115.00.  Choice 2-3   44-62 lbs 125.00-137.50 

   Yearling:  Choice 1-2  115-120 lbs 107.00-117.50.

   Feeder Lambs:  Medium and Large 1-2  very few, 38-42 lbs 150.00-160.00.

   Slaughter Ewes:  Utility and Good 2-3  122-205 lbs 67.00-77.00; culls, 57.00-62.50.

   Slaughter Rams:  Utility and good 2-3  115-185 lbs, 52.00-53.00. 

   Replacement Ewes:  Utility and good 1-2  100-150 lbs 92.00-102.50.

   Goats: 

   Kid:  Selection 1  45-63 lbs 180.00-190.00;  Selection 1-2  50-70 lbs 167.00-172.50; 74-88 lbs 132.00-147.50.  Selection 3  50-68 lbs 150.00-160.00.

   Yearlings  Selection 1-2  Scarce:

   Does/Nannies:  Selection 1-2  few 93-120 lbs 95.00-123.00;  Selection 3  128-155 lbs 62.00-68.00. 

   Billies:  Bulk medium flesh  few 87-180 lbs 110.00-122.50.
