   Compared to last week, a lighter test of steers sold steady, except 
a few comparable sales of 450-500 lbs selling up to 10.00 higher with
several buyers trying to fill orders for that specific weight range.
Heifers traded steady to 2.00 lower. The recent winter storm brought more
rain than ice to this part of the country, however the mud restricted
receipts. Demand was good with a moderate supply. The feeder offering
consisted of near 58 percent steers and bulls and 42 percent heifers with
49 percent over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls totaled 13 percent of the offering. 
Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher.
