   Compared to last week, feeders sold uneven but near steady with last weeks
lower trend.  Supply light.  Demand moderate with good buyer attendance.  Cows
and bulls were 28 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls
were 52 percent of the run; heifers 48 percent.  Near 39 percent of feeders
weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded near steady.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  375-400 lbs 270.50-274.50; 450-500 lbs
263.50-275.50; 500-600 lbs 255.00-276.00; 600-700 lbs 225.00-264.00; 778 lbs
