Receipts:  944    Week Ago:  1788    Year Ago:  0

   Compared to last week, feeders sold 3.00 to 10.00 higher based on a few
comparable sales.  Supply light to moderate with average feeder quality
being less attractive than last week.  Demand good to very good.  Cows and
bulls were 15 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls
were 51 percent of the run; heifers 49 percent.  Near 26 percent of feeders
weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded steady.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 315 lbs 300.00; 450-500 lbs 277.75-
300.00; 500-600 lbs 255.00-283.50; 600-700 lbs 229.00-262.50; lot 874 lbs
199.75.  Medium and Large 1-2  340-400 lbs 269.50-285.00; 400-500 lbs 239.00-
272.00; 500-600 lbs 236.00-264.00; 620-645 lbs 227.00-230.00; pkg 758 lbs
