Receipts:  2211    Week Ago:  2367    Year Ago:  2240

   Compared to last week, steers sold unevenly steady; heifers steady to
5.00 lower on calves.  Supply moderate to heavy.  Demand good.  Cows and
bulls were 13 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls
were 56 percent of the run; heifers 44 percent.  Near 29 percent of feeders
weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded 2.00 to 5.00 higher.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 226.00-231.00; 400-500 lbs
224.00-242.00; 500-600 lbs 206.50-230.00, fancy 243.00; 600-700 lbs 201.25-
209.75; 700-800 lbs 163.25-189.00; 800-900 lbs 161.00-170.75.  Medium and
Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 222.00-246.00; 400-500 lbs 221.00-245.00; 500-600 lbs
204.00-241.00; 600-700 lbs 189.00-205.50; few 700-725 lbs 177.00-182.00; pkg
