Receipts:  1300    Last Week:  1055    Year Ago:  1357

   Compared to last week, steers sold steady to firm; heifers steady to
3.00 higher.  Supply moderate with one load lot of 884 lb steers selling.
Demand good to very good with active trade.  Cows and bulls were 19 percent
of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 61 percent of the
run; heifers 39 percent.  Near 44 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.
Slaughter cows traded near steady.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  few 350-400 lbs 183.50-201.00; 400-
500 lbs 182.00-192.00; 500-600 lbs 173.00-190.00; 600-700 lbs 175.75-180.25;
750-800 lbs 168.75-169.75; few 830-840 lbs 159.00-161.00; load lot 884 lbs
