Based on limited comparisons with last Tuesday, feeder steers steady to
6.00 lower with decline over 500 lbs. Feeder heifers steady to 3.00 lower.
Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher. Supply light. Near 17 percent of the offering
were cows and 9 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply
approximately 65 percent steers and bulls and 35 percent heifers. Typical post-
Memorial Day sale with a nice offering expected next week.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2 300-400 lbs 172.00-198.00; 400-
500 lbs 160.00-185.00; 500-600 lbs 152.50-162.75; 600-700 lbs 144.50-152.50,
small package fleshy 673 lbs 141.50; small package fleshy 731 lbs 125.00.
Medium and Large 2 small package 339 lbs 171.00. Medium 2 500-550 lbs few
140.00.
