   Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers under 650 lbs steady, 
over 650 lbs 1.00-2.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 lower. Supply moderate. 
Near 6 percent of the offering were cows and 52 percent of the feeders were
over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 44 percent steers and bulls and 56
percent heifers. There is a bit of pessimism in the heavier cattle at the 
moment due to lower trending futures, limited pen space and the inability to
push slaughter cattle higher despite strong cutout values and manageable market
ready supplies.  

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  300-350 lbs 207.00-213.00; 400-500 lbs
178.00-195.00; 500-600 lbs 172.00-186.00; 600-700 lbs 150.00-163.75; 700-
