Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 11/21/2017

   Based on limited comparisons with last Tuesday, feeder steers near steady. 
Feeder heifers 2.00-6.00 lower. Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 higher. Supply light. 
Near 22 percent of the offering were cows and 34 percent of the feeders were 
over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 66 percent steers and bulls and 34
percent heifers. Friday?s Cattle on Feed report showed more of the same with 
larger than expected placements at 110 with marketings and the on feed total
both at 106. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 185.00-190.00; package 482 lbs
166.00; 500-600 lbs 161.00-172.00, small package full 593 lbs 152.50; 600-
700 lbs 152.00-152.25, several calves 147.50-150.00; 24 head 1051 lbs 133.00. 
Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 153.50-166.00; 500-600 lbs 151.00-156.00; 600-
650 lbs 150.00-152.00; 700-800 lbs 142.00-150.25. Medium and Large 2  small 
package 647 lbs 137.00. Small and Medium 1-2  package 494 lbs 127.50. Large 3
Holsteins  344-486 lbs 87.50. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 149.00-159.00; 500-550 lbs
145.00-153.50; two packages full/non weaned 589-597 lbs 130.00-133.00; package
759 lbs 139.50. Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 140.00-155.00; small package
