Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 8/22/2017

   Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers under 650 lbs 2.00-6.00 higher, over
650 lbs not well tested. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs firm to 4.00 higher, few
over 600 lbs steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 lower. Supply light. 
Near 18 percent of the offering were cows and 15 percent of the feeders were 
over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 46 percent steers and bulls and 54
percent heifers. 

***Special cow sale Friday, August 25th @ 6:30 with around 500 head expected.***

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  400-500 lbs 160.00-173.00; 500-
600 lbs 153.50-172.00; 600-700 lbs 145.00-155.00, small package calves 665 lbs
142.25. Medium 1-2  small package 463 lbs 155.50. Large 3 Holsteins  small 
package 418 lbs 84.00. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  400-500 lbs 148.00-163.00; 500-
600 lbs 135.25-151.50; 600-700 lbs 132.25-137.75; 13 head 823 lbs 123.50. 
Large 1  small package 665 lbs 133.50. Medium 1-2  package 504 lbs 143.00. 

   Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2  450-500 lbs 147.00-149.00; 500-600 lbs
