Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 4/19/2016
 
Receipts:  1890    Week Ago:  952    Year Ago: 1326

    Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers under 600 lbs 6.00-15.00 lower,
over 600 lbs 4.00-6.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs 5.00-10.00
lower, over 600 lbs 3.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower. 
Supply moderate. Near 10 percent of the offering were cows and 24 percent of
the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 55 percent steers
and bulls and 45 percent heifers. The continuing downward movement of the
board is taking a toll so far this week, especially after Monday?s limit 
down move. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  package 273 lbs 212.50; 350-400 lbs
186.00-200.00; 400-500 lbs 170.00-187.50, package fleshy 482 lbs 165.00; 
500-600 lbs 157.50-176.00; 600-700 lbs 159.50-166.00, calves/fleshy 151.00-
