Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 3/1/2016
 
Receipts:  1238    Week Ago:  1598    Year Ago: 266 

   Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers under 700 lbs steady to firm, over
700 lbs 2.00-4.00 lower. Feeder heifers steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows
steady. Supply moderate. Near 9 percent of the offering were cows and 46 
percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 53 
percent steers and bulls and 47 percent heifers. 

******Special Closed Cow Sale Friday, March 4th at 6:30 pm for Roger and Betty
Kinder consisting of 585 head of 2-7 year Sim-Angus and Angus cows with 300-
400 lb fall calves at side. Cows bred back to Sim-Angus bulls. **************
