   Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly 5.00 
to 8.00 lower. The heavy rains came down on the sale barn, making 
producers hesitant to work and load cattle.  Live Cattle and Feeder 
Cattle Futures closed higher on Tuesday, although the higher futures 
were not reflected in the sale barn. Demand moderate. Supply light. 
The feeder supply consisted of 38 percent over 600 lbs, 57 percent 
steers and bulls, and 43 percent heifers. Cows and bulls 14 percent. 
Slaughter cows mostly steady to 1.00 lower.
