Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 6/23/2015

    Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers mostly steady except a
few steers near 400 lbs 5.00-10.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady. Supply light.
Near 12 percent of the offering was cows and 38 percent of the feeders were over
600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 56 percent steers and bulls and 44 percent
heifers. Light run of feeders this week which might be the preview of things to
come with available supplies likely to be fairly limited for a while. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 280.00-301.00; 500-600 lbs
278.50-301.00; 600-650 lbs 255.50-262.00; 700-800 lbs 215.00-236.00. Medium and
Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 265.00-300.00; 500-600 lbs 250.00-284.00; 600-700 lbs
231.00-250.00. Medium and Large 2  small package 598 lbs 237.00; package 748 lbs
200.00.   

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1  500-600 lbs 232.50-245.50; 600-700 lbs
215.00-236.00, few replacements 236.00-238.00. Medium and Large 1-2  package
387 lbs 250.00; 400-500 lbs 248.50-261.50; 500-600 lbs 225.00-236.00; 600-
