Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 8/12/2014

Receipts:  899     Last Week: 1490     Last Year:  1934

   Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers were 5.00-10.00 lower.
Slaughter cows steady. Supply moderate. Near 8 percent of the offering were cows
and 32 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 26
percent steers and bulls and 6 percent heifers.  

   Feeder steers: Medium and Large 1 Few 350-400 lbs 285.00-292.50; 400-500 lbs
260.00-284.00; 500-600 lbs 238.50-256.50; 600-700 lbs 225.75-244.50; 700-
775 lbs few 223.00.00-229.00. Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 287.00-
305.00; 400-500 lbs 231.00-282.00; 500-600 lbs 234.00-250.50; 600-700 lbs 
208.00-235.25. Large 3 Holsteins pkg.367 lbs 201.00; pkg. 401 lbs. 176.00; pkg.
