Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 4/29/2014

Receipts:  1345    Last Week: 1336     Year Ago:  1340

   Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers 2.00-5.00 higher except 
a few heifers over 600 lbs steady. Slaughter cows steady. Supply moderate. Near
12 percent of the offering was cows and 14 percent of the feeders were over 
600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 59 percent steers and bulls and 41 percent
heifers. Feeder offering largely good quality medium flesh calves weighing 375-
575 lbs with some weaned and many not. 

   Feeder steers: Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 238.00-252.00; 400-500 lbs
215.00-248.00; 500-600 lbs 208.50-217.00, few fleshy 206.00-210.00; 600-700 lbs
few 186.25-207.00, several calves/fleshy 174.00-201.00; package 728 lbs 182.50; 
package full 807 lbs 167.50. Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 220.00-242.00; 
400-500 lbs 209.00-236.00; 500-600 lbs 207.50-213.00, few fleshy 195.00-207.00;
600-610 lbs few 200.00-205.00; 700-750 lbs 176.50-179.50. Medium and Large 2
570-660 lbs 172.00-190.00. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 220-234.00; 400-500 lbs
