   Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers steady to 3.00 lower
with best demand near 650 lbs. Slaughter cows steady. Supply moderate. Near
10 percent of the offering was cows and 49 percent of the feeders were over
600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 50 percent steers and bulls and 50
percent heifers. About as much difference in this area as you can have from
one year to the next with abundant moisture and grass following last year?s
drought.

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 144.50-152.50; 500-600 lbs
140.75-150.00, few fleshy 135.00-138.00; 600-700 lbs  139.00-146.75, few fleshy
