Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 5/30/2018
Receipts: 235 Week Ago: 2355 Year Ago: 0
Feeder supply not sufficient to establish a market trend. Slaughter cows
steady. Near 24 percent cows of the offering were cows. Typically light post-
Memorial Day auction. Fridays Cattle on Feed report was fairly neutral with
placements at 92, lowering the on feed total to 105. The cattle market is
doing pretty well at the moment with beef cutout values hanging in there even
with recent large slaughter volumes.
