Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 11/09/2016

Receipts:  1737    Week Ago:  713    Year Ago:  1260

       Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers traded steady to 
5.00 higher. The offering consisted of 62 percent feeder steers and bulls, 
38 percent feeder heifers and 40 percent of the offering was over 600 lbs. 
There was a special for Hereford influenced calves. Slaughter cows consisted 
of 16 percent of the offering trading steady to 2.00 lower.   

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1   400-500 lbs 136.25-154.00; 470-480 
lbs pkg thin fleshed 149.25-150.50; 500-600 lbs 125.00-134.00; 600-700 lbs 
121.00-128.00; 700-800 lbs 122.00-128.00; pkg 825 lbs 123.00.  Medium and 
Large 1-2  pkg 345 lbs 152.00; 400-450 lbs 141.00-145.00; 450-500 lbs 128.00-
